# WTF is Social Staking

Social Staking allows NNS holders to be rewarded for their nounish proliferation and nounish users (not necessarily holders) to get NOGS performing actions within the Nouns ecosystem.

To earn a NOGS, NNS holders simply have to lock their NNS names and show their .⌐◨-◨  in their Twitter name.

The full distribution of NOGS through Social Staking will take years to be fully completed and will be constantly updated with new communities and partners.

However, the sooner you join, the higher your daily rewards will be.
